What is Pop Art?

Pop art is art that is made bold in color and cartoon-ish used to send a message or advertisement.

Why is this artist’s work considered Pop Art?

Roy Lichtenstein work is considered pop art because his photos are bold in color and are cartoony in a way.

Describe some of this artists work.

Lintenstein work is very finished. The colors don’t look unfinished, and you can’t see like any pencil marks or brushes. All the lines in the images are perfect along with the color. Alot of his work is also cartoon and not real images taken that he just edited.

Why did you pick this artist and why do you like his/her work?

I chose this artist because his work always interested me and still does when i come upon one of his works.
